Latham Biryani Restaurant
Saturday 12/17/2017 They open at 12 noon I arrived at 2:30pm. Some food barely warm and some cool to touch. Not restocked and not turned over meaning refreshed . Few choices for a buffet at that price. I asked the man for a soda and he said you get it yourself . The entire time of 31 minutes I was there he never so much as took one plate away. Food low quality and taste mediocre at best. Certainly not worth 13.99 for a buffet. Would not recommend nor would I go back. There are a couple good ones in colonie Latham and Clifton park that are much better. I won’t give the names of them not looking to play favorites but I do know my food. Scale of 1-10 I’d give it a big 3.
Good: Tasty authentic food. Very nice folks working here/ owner. Poor: The variety is somewhat lacking on the buffet. Also, not much is said to you when you enter other than hi. You learn to go up during the buffet, grab a plate and drink on your own. Terrible: Bathroom is disgusting, doesn't cost anything to keep your good establishment clean, see photos. Makes you wonder what the areas not in public view look like...

I like their lunch buffet as the best low price way to get decent Indian food but their regular prices are still inexpensive. Low key atmosphere. Good food. Very casual.
The food is great and the people are friendly too. It's probably the best Indian food I've had. Definitely try the pakora.
Very good place to try Indian and Pakistani cuisine especially different types of biryanis (rice with spices and chicken) as well as curries and similar food. Pricing is moderate. There's parking when you enter and the entrance being one-way, always exit around the building on the other side. Food is definitely delicious. Spice level is above medium spicy so take care!
