FastMed Urgent Care
The staff was very pleasant, professional, and sympathetic. There wasn’t a long wait. Everything was very clean. I was in and out quickly. The problem came later. I took my medication and about an hour later the food and medication came back up. I called they said to give it a while and see how I feel. Unfortunately That happened 3 more times but they were closed so there was no one to call. I called the next morning and no one answered. I took the meds like they told me to and it made me sick 2 more times. I called and they said they’d call me back. 3 hours later I finally went to Bethany Medical Center because they hadn’t called me back and I couldn’t keep down any food or water. As it turns out I was over medicated. The prescribed medication was too high.
I had to wait a minute or two for someone to come up and help me check in. I could see 4 ladies chit-chatting in the back, the front desk girl finally said "Oh!" and got up to come to the front to help me. Once she did come to check me in the whole process took 15 minutes and I had completed new patient paperwork upon arrival. Someone from the back came up and asked for her lunch order and she left her computer to go get her debit card and tell her the lunch order. I get everyone gets lunch breaks and we all need to eat, but NOT when you're checking in a patient. A man was in the waiting room had said he had been there the day before and was never seen. The PA- Tamera Cheek, was just about as helpful as a google search for my symptoms. My paperwork clearly states my current medical conditions along with the symptoms I am experiencing. I was crying because I was in a lot of pain, hence my trip to the urgent care, and she acted as if I was over reacting. I let her know medications I had at home and she prescribed me more of that medicine (which I let her know I was already taking and it was not helping). She also told me that I seem to have anxiety - I do have General Anxiety Disorder, thank you for noticing WHAT IS LISTED UNDER MY MEDICAL HISTORY AND CONDITIONS. I wouldn't have come here if I wasn't in so much pain and on a time crunch. I'd love to give this place zero stars but it won't let me do that.
SHANTA is a very rude, unpleasant, and unprofessional front desk employee. She greeted me in a tone that made it seem as if she didnt want to work there. I said i needed a deug test done today for a job employment opportunity she replied that i would have a three hour wait as if she wanted me to leave. Following me confirming i would wait she sighed “ooook” and shook her head again in an effort to encourage me to leave. If i did not have to be at this specific location i would have left simply because of her attitude. I understand that people have bad days and some people work in places they dont want to but when your in your place of work you need to at least act like you want to be there. As i sit here in the waiting room i have heard her be very openly rude to two other patients when asked for help filling out forms on the tablet. I am very disappointed in this experience.
Prescribed wrong dosage for my son. They said it was cumputer error. Be aware....
This is the longest wait ever. I came for a quick test for work and waited an hour with only 2 people in front of me. The are rude and unprofessional and could care less about your time.. Please visit any other place than this. Worst experience will never come back.
