El Ranchero Mexican Restaurant
Consistently good food and service. Imported Mexican beer on tap served very cold, good margaritas. Maybe not perfectly authentic for seasoned travelers to Mexico, but quite good by Midwestern standards. Friendly and attentive servers. Quite reasonable prices for generous portions. Often able to accommodate large parties better than many other restaurants. Very busy at lunchtime on Sundays and often busy at dinnertime on Fridays and Saturdays, as might be expected.
Love This Restaurant...Great Food And Friendly Service And Staff..
Went to this location since it is close to my house... I will say I was very disappointed. I ordered my regular dish whenever I go to a Mexican restaurant, the steak fajitas, and the steak was not seasoned at all, the veggies were either grossly over sauteed or they were left sitting in oil for a very long time... I felt like I was eating a pile of mushy grizzle... My husband had to go find our waitress when we were done... The restaurant was very dirty despite there only being 2-3 other couples inside... We were there for about an hour and a table across from us sat unbussed for at least 30 minutes. I never give bad reviews to anyplace because I am very hard to disappoint when it comes to food... But this place just struck a nerve. This was my first time coming to this location since moving to Ellettsville and I will never come here again. The new El Ranchero on the south side of Bloomington is much better... Cleanliness, service, and taste wise.
Good value for the food. Good service and immense portions.
Fast friendly staff and good reasonably priced food
