Bogert Farmers' Market

325 South Church Avenue

About Us:

Since the early 70's a farmers' market has been held at Bogert Park and we are excited to continue that tradition.

Each year we start the first Tuesday in June and run consecutively for 17 Tuesday's throughout the summer.

The Bogert Farmers' Market is dedicated to the promotion of local growers, artisans, crafters, musicians, non-profits, small businesses and culinary artists.

The Bogert Farmers' Market is a place for families and friends to gather, socialize, support local and share in a fun-filled community environment! To maintain the quality of this Market, we constantly challenge each of our vendors to continue to help us represent BFM as a Market that the Bozeman community can be proud of.

The Market is a Fundraiser for the "Friends of Park's"-a not-for-profit, whose members are community volunteers who commit the Markets revenues to the preservation and improvements of Bozeman Parks.

With your help, the Friends of Parks will achieve a goal of maintaining a Farmers' Market in a much-loved location and in turn, rejuvenate and help maintain our Bozeman parks.

Market Hours:

June 5, 2018 - September 25, 2018
Tuesdays, 5PM - 8PM

Location: Bogert Park, 325 South Church Avenue

Pros: This farmer's market is dog friendly. While there is a tented area for vendors, the sitting area is outdoors, so if you enjoy outdoor weather, you are in luck. Sometimes, they have music there. Cons: This is a small farmer's market that is very overcrowded. The food is expensive; I did not have anything that was that good and I tried 3 different items from three different vendors. Most of the crafts and local veggies are on the pricey end. We had to park several blocks away, so the elderly folks who were with us to be dropped off first, in busy neighborhood traffic. Be prepared to wait in a long line for the very small ladies' restroom. Be prepared to stand while you eat because there is not enough table room to feed everyone. Consider bringing a blanket if you want to sit on the grass instead of a table.

Best Tuesday Evening Summertime Activity. They run this only on Tuesday evenings during the summer but it is a great place to eat dinner, buy produce, let the kids run around, and visit with friends. Parking can be a little bothersome but if you aren't afraid to walk it isn't too bad. Great farmer's market!

Farmer's Markets are a special joy in a 4 season climate. Bogert has everything you could want - kettle corn, herbs and spices, candles and crafts and plenty of fresh local veggies, plus a rotation selection of street food and music.

It's fun to browse the vendors and grab a bite of street food but parking can be intense.

The fresh vegetables from the stands were a great price and served up by friendly hosts. Lots of art work and jewelry was on display. Check out Avigail for one of a kind oil paintings and metalworks. Plenty of homemade jelly, breads, and sweets were sold fresh from the oven.. And, some food ventors offered multi-cultural choices.
